About the Role:
Are you a technical expert with a passion for precision in workforce management? Our client is seeking a Technical Specialist with deep experience in time and attendance systems, rostering, scheduling, and award interpretation. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring accurate workforce planning and compliance, helping organisations optimise their labour costs while maintaining operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimise time and attendance systems, including rostering and scheduling modules.

  • Interpret complex award agreements, enterprise bargaining agreements (EBAs), and workplace contracts to ensure accurate payroll calculations.

  • Collaborate with HR, payroll, and operations teams to align system configurations with business rules and workforce policies.

  • Conduct system testing, troubleshoot issues, and implement system updates as needed.

  • Provide expert advice on best practices for workforce planning and labor cost management.

  • Develop and maintain system documentation, user guides, and training materials.

  • Support data integrity and compliance by performing regular audits and data validation.

  • Generate reports and insights to support data-driven decision-making.

About You:

  • Proven experience in configuring and supporting time and attendance systems (e.g., UKG, Kronos, Workforce Software, Ceridian Dayforce, or similar).

  • Strong understanding of award interpretation, EBAs, and labour compliance.

  • Analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

  • Excellent communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach.

  • Experience in system integration and data flow management is a plus.
