About the Role:
Are you driven by the power of data to shape people strategies? We are seeking a People & Culture Data Analyst to deliver high-quality insights that drive workforce planning, remuneration strategies, and evidence-based decision-making.
In this role, you will analyse both internal and external workforce data, design and deliver dashboards and reports, and enhance organisational capability through improved data accessibility, self-service analytics, automation, and AI solutions. You’ll collaborate across People & Culture, Finance, and operational teams to ensure people data is accurate, accessible, and aligned with organisational priorities — supporting everything from board reporting to policy development.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, analyse, and report on a wide range of people metrics, including remuneration, performance, turnover, demographics, and talent.
Develop predictive models, workforce projections, and insights to support strategic workforce planning, organisational design, industrial relations (IR), and total rewards.
Conduct labour market research and benchmarking, participating in industry surveys and analysing results to inform workforce and remuneration strategies.
Provide robust data support for cyclical People & Culture processes, including annual remuneration reviews, talent and succession planning, and engagement initiatives.
Prepare board and executive reporting, including dashboards, remuneration budgets, incentive modelling, and compliance reports.
Respond to and manage external survey and benchmarking requests.
Enhance stakeholder access to data through intuitive self-service dashboards, templates, and reporting tools.
Educate leaders and teams on interpreting and applying people data to decision-making.
Maintain high standards of data integrity, governance, and compliance with legislative and organisational requirements.
Explore and implement technology solutions — including AI and business intelligence platforms — to automate reporting, enhance data visualisation, and improve insight delivery.
About You:
Degree in HR, Business, Commerce, Data Analytics, or related field.
Proficient in data analysis, statistical modelling, and reporting tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI).
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to identify trends and translate them into actionable recommendations.
Solid understanding of People & Culture systems, processes, and data flows.
Experience in remuneration analysis, benchmarking, survey participation, and reporting at board or executive level.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and tailor reporting to business needs.
High attention to detail, accuracy, and accountability.
Curious, adaptable, and comfortable adopting new technologies, including AI and automation tools.
What’s in it for You:
Competitive salary and benefits package.
Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid options.
Opportunities to build expertise in people analytics, AI, and automation.
A collaborative environment where data informs strategic decisions and drives innovation.
