Systems Specialist – People & Culture / Technology Services
About the Role:
Are you a HR systems expert with a passion for optimising technology to improve employee experience? We are seeking a Systems Specialist to manage, administer, and govern HR application systems and People & Culture (P&C) technology platforms (HRIS) that drive operational efficiency and support strategic objectives.
In this role, you’ll collaborate with P&C, Digital & Technology teams, and system partners to ensure HRIS platforms are aligned with organisational needs, fully optimised, compliant with privacy regulations, and equipped to deliver accurate, high-quality people data. You’ll also play a critical role in process improvements, system enhancements, and supporting the P&C technology roadmap.
Key Responsibilities:
Ensure HRIS platforms align with organisational and strategic requirements.
Contribute to the HR Systems Roadmap, ensuring it supports long-term P&C objectives.
Drive process improvements and deliver system enhancements to improve service delivery.
Oversee HRIS maintenance, troubleshooting, upgrades, patches, releases, and testing.
Collaborate with Digital & Technology teams to manage integrations and customisations.
Manage HRIS access, permissions, and security for employees and support partners.
Develop and deliver training, procedural documentation, and user guidelines.
Build and deliver scheduled reports, and respond to ad-hoc reporting requests with analytical insights.
Ensure data integrity, governance, and compliance with privacy and security standards.
About You:
Tertiary qualification in HR, Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field, OR equivalent experience in a similar role.
Proven experience managing HR systems across diverse business segments and technical environments.
Strong technical skills to analyse, configure, and troubleshoot HRIS issues.
Proficient in data analytics and able to interpret and present data effectively.
Knowledge of HR data privacy and compliance regulations.
Certification in relevant HRIS systems (e.g., SuccessFactors) highly regarded.
Collaborative and solutions-focused, with strong stakeholder engagement skills.
